Here is how AI has disrupted our lives

AI, or artificial intelligence displayed by machines, is becoming a part of our daily life. Technology is no longer a distant phenomenon; it is here to stay, assisting us in being more productive.

As a tech enthusiast, it’s always fascinating to learn about the latest innovations in the industry. Artificial Intelligence (AI) was a unique, intriguing, and somewhat future-oriented concept when it first entered our lives. AI, or artificial intelligence displayed by machines, is becoming a part of our daily life. Technology is no longer a distant phenomenon; it is here to stay, assisting us in being more productive.

Here are some of the ways AI has developed our lives:

1. AI-assisted lifestyle apps

AI aids in the smooth adaptation to human preferences and decisions. It assists with the recognition of designs and patterns and then takes over. It assists the client in making quicker and easier decisions based on their preferences or requirements. Exercise monitoring apps, for example, recognise the user’s needs and then recommend fitness activities that meet those needs. Audio streaming apps, meanwhile, offer tracks based on your preferences and even moods, enhancing the user experience.

2. Smart shopping
If you’ve ever done any online shopping, AI is almost certain to have played a role. Digital help technology and web searches both benefit from AI. Chatbots are another AI feature that is frequently observed while buying online, assisting and simplifying the purchasing process. These chatbots are trained to respond to customer enquiries and assist with trivial concerns.

3. Smart devices
Smartwatches, smart air conditioners, smart refrigerators, and other AI-powered technologies make our lives easier by anticipating our requirements. Refrigerators recognise the various types of food stored in the fridge and regulate their temperature accordingly. Voice instructions are accepted by smart gadgets such as Alexa, Siri, and even LED lights.

Another aspect of our life that has been developed by AI is manufacturing. According to Satish Pala, CTO, Indium software, “manufacturing Industry has been on the constant lookout for technology advancements that would eventually help increase operational efficiency, better quality control, lower production costs, lower maintenance costs, increase revenue, etc. With the adoption of Industry 4.0 principles, the industry has been addressing challenges like having to deal with complex processes, high costs due to legacy tools and technologies.”

According to Pala, “one of the key technology shifts in the manufacturing space is deploying technology solutions driven by Artificial Intelligence.:

“Another key AI use case is Digital Twin technology wherein a physical object, process or a whole factory for example is represented digitally. Some industry examples include engines, wind farms, buildings, cities, etc. The digital twin technology can be used to collect data, and create simulations that can predict how a product or process will perform,” he added.
