Adobe has stated that its multiple video, audio, animation, and motion graphic design applications would be updated to include Firefly.

Adobe made the announcement that it was developing its own artificial intelligence generator, Adobe Firefly (opens in new tab), as the popularity of the finest AI picture generators was skyrocketing earlier this year.

Adobe Firefly is now in beta testing. In related developments, Adobe made the announcement today that Adobe Firefly would be included in Creative Cloud programmes “later on this year.” This is an addition to the previously mentioned news.

“Having Firefly as a creative co-pilot allows you to turbocharge the discovery and ideation processes while simultaneously slashing the amount of time spent on post-production from days to minutes. And with generative AI embedded directly into your processes, all of these potent new capabilities will be at your disposal at all times.

Imagine having the ability to immediately alter the time of day of a movie, automatically annotate and discover pertinent b-roll, or generate unlimited versions of clips; all of these capabilities would serve as a springboard for your creative process.

It will bring:

Text-to-colour enhancements: Change the colour schemes, time of day, or even the seasons in films that have already been produced to rapidly shift the atmosphere and environment in order to generate a certain tone and feel. When given a straightforward directive like “Make this scene feel warm and inviting,” the time it takes to get from conception to the finished result may be reduced to almost nothing.

Advanced music and sound effects: Creators may simply develop royalty-free customised sounds and music to express a certain mood or scenario for both temporary and final records. These sounds and music can be used in any way they choose.

Fonts, text effects, graphics, and logos that will blow you away: Subtitles, logos, title cards, and individualised animations relevant to the content may be generated by the authors with just a few basic words in a matter of minutes.

Powerful script and B-roll capabilities: Creators may significantly expedite pre-production, production, and post-production processes by using AI analysis of the script to text to automatically build storyboards and previsualizations, in addition to proposing b-roll clips for rough or final edits. This allows for a huge increase in efficiency across all three stages of production.

Creative assistants and co-pilots: Users will be able to learn new abilities and speed processes by using personalised “how-tos” driven by generative AI. These processes range from the original vision to production and editing.

The Adobe Sensei AI machine learning platform, which has won several awards, has been used for years in the company’s main products, thus Adobe is no stranger to artificial intelligence (AI). Because of this, the programme is able to do sophisticated editing tasks such as deleting and replacing objects with the help of Content Aware Fill in Photoshop or reframing video with the help of Auto Reframe in Premiere Pro.
